Goodbye 26!

Turning 26 was tough for me. Last year's post if you wanna read it.

I fretted and frowned and whined. WHY? My 26th year was awesome. I learned a ton about myself, fell even more in love with Andy, travelled and fell into a good blogging routine.

Student teaching has been great, marriage has been great...weight loss--meh more on that Sunday.

I can handle 27! Tonight we have some fantastic plans...including eating at one of my favorite restaurants, sleeping in a Disney hotel and a trip to Disneyland tomorrow. Can't complain.

Do you dread getting older? Or do you embrace it? I really need to learn to embrace it.

I celebrated the last day of 26 (my birthday is tomorrow) by having my cousin flat-iron my hair, splurging on a tall nonfat 1.5 pump mocha (yeah I'm THAT girl) and wearing high heels.

Happy birthday, woman!

And yeah, I've started embracing getting older. I'm 27 going on 28, getting gray hairs and not using hair dye, heh.

Anywho, have an awesome time!

Happy birthday Amanda!! I hope you have a great time at Disneyland :)

I don't really stress over or embrace any age (at least not yet - I'm one closer to 30 than you are so my answer might change in a couple years!)... I think the problem is that I don't even realize I'm getting older. I don't feel like I am. I have to stop to think about how old I am because my first instinct tells me I'm still 25.

Girl 27 is awesome! It's the age when people start taking you seriously as an adult. Yeah you've been an adult this whole time but at 27 people start recognizing that and realizing that perhaps you do know what you're talking about. :D

I actually don't dread getting older. Right now I love LOVE being in my 30s and honestly wouldn't go back for anything. If I *had* to, 27 is the age I would pick. :)

I like to think I am embracing getting older. I was freaking out last yr about turning 30 but 30 has actually rocked. And now 31 is right around the corner---how the eff am I almost 31?? I think it's more the anticipation about getting older that gets me in the end.

Anywho, hope you have a super fun birthday--get that mocha and wear those heels girl!

Happy (late) Birthday! :)

27 isn't bad at all :) I don't feel like I'm 27, but it's been a great year so far!

26 was definitely my favorite age! I took 25 really hard so it was a breath of fresh air. I am 28 now and I'm actually really looking forward to 30 (well, 29 first, haha) because the 20's are rough and all I've heard is how awesome the 30's are. Can't wait! But no reason to rush life ;-)
