Chobani Champions Review + Giveaway!

Recently Chobani came out with a greek yogurt targeted at kids. It's called Chobani Champions. I became very interested in this product because I have an 8 year brother who is the pickiest eater on earth. I've been trying to get him to make healthier choices and try new things but it's tough.

016

Chobani sent me 2 of each flavor. (For free, I was not compensated for this review.) It was perfect because I gave one of each flavor to Daniel and kept one of each for myself to try.

Flavors are: VerryBerry, Strawnana, Honeynana & Chocolate.

017

Dan was pretty stoked about the chocolate flavor.

001

Personally, I was excited about the VerryBerry. I sampled it right away.

002

First thing I noticed when I opened the package was that the yogurt and fruit were already mixed together. I loved this because I was a little worried that Daniel wouldn't try a "fruit on the bottom" type yogurt. It was smooth, creamy and just a tad thicker than regular fruit yogurt. The VerryBerry flavor was sooo good. It's not sugary sweet like other yogurts I've tried in the past (cough trix yogurt cough) instead it tastes like a blend of delicious fruit!

Nutritional Stats were pretty good too.

Calories 110, Fat 2 grams, Protein 9g and Sugar 13g. Please keep in mind that you cannot make a sugar-free yogurt because of the natural milk sugars.

006

My 2nd favorite was Strawnana. It was so good!

So how did Daniel feel about the yogurt?

011

He liked it! He said he liked the chocolate flavor best because "chocolate is GOOD!"

Personally, I'm just excited that he was willing to try something new. When a kid is as picky as him, it can get frustrating! I think knowing he was going to be featured on the blog helped a lot too.

Do you want to win some Chobani Champions too?

I don't buy kids yogurt because usually they add so much sugar and flavor that the protein is low. I would love to win to pack in my daughter's lunchbox. We don't buy much that is prepackaged so individual yogurt cups are a special treat!

haha a picky eater in my life is my fiance!
and given his love of chicken nuggets marketed to children, he'd probably be all about this...

My nephew LOVES yogurt. That's why I want to win! He is, however, NOT a picky eater. This would be a nutritional powerhouse when compared to his GOGURT!

I have actually never tried Chobani, or any Greek yogurt, to be exact. My fiance is the picky eater in my life, and boy is it going to be difficult to train him once we're married and living together in August! He's come a long way since we started dating four years ago, but he still refuses to try things that are thought of as "healthy", just because they're supposed to be so! Ridiculous!

Honeynana sounds like the greatest yogurt of all time, and despite being very unpicky, I must try it.
