It's almost here!

Andy and I are running our first 5k together tomorrow! More than that later.

001

On Tuesday, I worked at a preschool. I worked for 2 classes. The first from 8-11 and the next from 12-3. I was pretty excited about having an hour break so I went to Camille's for a wrap.

002

I got my favorite. Chicken caesar with avocados and light on the dressing. It's delicious.

007

Dinner has been a lot of leftovers and takeout but we did make some carne asada Wednesday night since one of my classes was cancelled. Carne asada, chipotle sweet potato fries and guac.

008

I always try to make sure my protein is smaller than the size of my hand.

010

Breakfast yesterday was fabulous. Vanilla greek yogurt, strawberries and my favorite cereal of all time. Nature's Path Crunchy Maple Sunrise. The maple flavor goes so well with vanilla!

011

Yesterday, my little sister Emily accompanied me to pick up my race packet and bib for the 5k. We picked up Andy's and my dad's as well. (My dad is running the half marathon.)

012

013

They had a little expo inside and were selling so much stuff! I wish I had time to look through it all.

014

I did snag a piece of Great Harvest's guiness & gouda bread though. I had no idea there was a Great Harvest near us!

015

After picking up the race packets and free stuff (!!) Emily and I went to lunch.

015

Emily ordered a green salad with balsamic dressing.

016

I ordered a bowl of corn chowder. It was really creamy and really delicious.

017

And half a grilled cheese with fries. The grilled cheese was overly cheese and I took more than half the cheese off. Gross. The fries were very "meh." So I ate a few and called it good.

018

Em's cheese pizza looked way better.

019

As for free stuff, we got hats & bags.

020

Sunscreen, protein powder, dried plums (prunes) and a mini clif bar.

021

A water bottle

022

And a huge orange shirt.

Now I'm feeling pretty excited! I don't think my time will be record breaking or anything but I am excited to finish!

2 questions for you:

1. Is it easy to switch to wordpress? I've had it with blogger!
2. Should I switch to wordpress and get my own domain? I've been debating it for awhile.

Hope you enjoy the race! I'm sure you'll do great.

Do you have a food scale? I bought one a couple of years ago for pretty cheap on Amazon and it makes it pretty quick/easy to take the guesswork out of serving sizes, including meat and other stuff that lists the serving size in grams or ounces, as opposed to cups/tablespoons. I'm not counting calories these days, but I still measure and weigh pretty much everything.

The hand method works too I suppose, but I think my hands are too big :D

And yes, dude that is some serious cheese on that sandwich, whoa!

I love WP! But I also have a WP guru to help me because I don't know smack. I personally, would get your own domain.

Good luck on your race tomorrow!!! :)

I made the switch from blogger to wordpress in like one day. It took a few days to adjust but I like it a lot. There are a lot of really cool features. I have not done the domain thing though.

Good luck on your race tomorrow girlie!

I had an easy time switching to Wordpress, I was originally on blogger. I've been going back and forth with my own domain -- everyone I know who has one has been having problems with their hosting company. So I'm still thinking on that one!

I will be thinking about you tomorrow! I can't wait to hear all about it. You guys got some amazing free stuff :) Good luck Two Boos Who Run! Ha ha.

Good luck with your race!! :) The swag in the race bags and the t-shirts are one of my favorite parts of races! ;)

I'm thinking of getting my own domain too... I'm intimidated though!!

not that i'm quite sure what the differences are.

good luck on your race!

Good luck tomorrow! You will do great! I'm so excited, it makes me look forward to doing my own 5K. I repeated week 6(like you) of the C25K and I have the 25 min jogg tomorrow. :)

I look forward to hearing about the race.

Amanda, I told you already: SWITCH TO WORDPRESS!! ASAP!! :D
Not sure about the own domain....it makes wordpress a lot better, but it's also a bit of work to get your own domain. If you're savvy with technology and html and CSS, then I'd totally recommend it.

Best of luck tomorrow, both of you Boos!

Good luck today! Hey, just finishing it will be awesome!

And too much cheese?? There is no such thing!

I am so not technical, but I love wordpress - not sure how easy it is to move it though!
